Leitz continues to expand in the booming Indian market

With its comprehensive range of services and consulting, the Group supports customers worldwide as a manufacturing service provider in the optimal use of cutting tools. Leitz products are used every day in over 150 countries around the world. By steadily increasing the number of production and service locations worldwide, the service network and thus also the proximity to the customer is continuously optimised and expanded. The eighth service centre in Ahmedabad, India, has just been opened by Suresh Balakrishnan, Managing Director of Leitz India, and Jürgen Köppel, CEO of the Leitz Group. Another wood processing centre is currently being created in this fast-growing region. With the new service centre in Ahmedabad, Leitz can now provide even better service in the Gujarat region. The new service centre offers comprehensive service for diamond and carbide tools with state-of-the-art machines.
