Job Description

Responsible to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and support other sales members to ensure sales are maximized.  Duties include all sales and other activities to maximize sales, including sales related activities for service center, area distributors and regional sales/service/inside sales representatives. 

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Actively engage in the generation of additional sales and service while performing daily sales and service routes within designated territory.
  • Develop new customers.
  • Maximize potential business with existing customers by promoting tooling and servicing of tools.
  • Promote special programs and sales promotions to customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Support and train new sales members as required.
  • Assist in developing long-range growth forecasts, strategies, business plans.
  • Participate in beneficial association functions and maintain relations with associated industry suppliers.
  •  Report current competitive activities, and assist in developing marketing solutions and strategies.
  • Maintain a current and accurate database of daily, weekly and monthly activities.
  • Processing necessary paperwork using required company systems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and sales personnel.
  • Operate delivery vehicle in a safe, courteous and efficient manner.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • At least two years of field sales, service, or technical support experience.
