The owners of Leitz, Mrs. Monika Brucklacher and. Dr. Cornelia Brucklacher, received the prestigious “Top 500 Family Businesses Award” in Germany, presented by the Managing Director of Stiftung Familienunternehmen (Foundation for Family Businesses), Stefan Heidbreder.

As of September 1st, 2016, Jürgen Köppel (53) will become the new Spokesman for the Management of Leitz GmbH & Co. KG, Oberkochen. Alessandro Telesio (59) will leave the company after more than three years of holding this position for Leitz Group.

Almost one year ago, the Leitz PlugTec window joint was introduced at the Holz-Handwerk Fair. Since then it has been well received in the market, and preliminary projects have been successfully completed. Now customers can observe PlugTec production in action at machine manufacturer and distributor facilities.
